M-Sat


Concept of an M-Sat, or Mobile Communications Satellite, in the Canada Pavilion at Expo 86.

Designed as a model by Nick Proach, it was over 28' long wingtip to wingtip - only 1/4 of the size of the real satellite! Most of this model was built from aluminum and industrial plastics.

Inspecting the model is Nick Proach and Ron Murray, a display coordinator working with Canada Place/Expo 86.
