This is a 1/24 scale model of the latest Orion design, known as the Orion 606 design. This model was custom built for the Gallery at the Visitors' Center, NASA Glenn Research Center in Cleveland.
The 1/24 scale model is a highly detailed replica of what America's next manned spacecraft will look like when it launches into space in early 2015.
This is the spacecraft that will return man to the Moon by 2020.
