M-Sat Mobile Communications Satellite
Concept of an M-Sat, or Mobile Communications Satellite, in the Canada Pavilion at Expo 86.
Designed by Nick Proach, its length spanned over 28′ from wingtip to wingtip – only 1/4 of the size of the real satellite. Most of this model was built from aluminum and industrial plastics.
Inspecting the model is Nick Proach and Ron Murray, a display coordinator who worked for Canada Place/Expo 86.
This model is also available in 1/48 scale.
