America's Early Space Pioneers
This set features America's early manned spaceflight workhorses in 1/144 scale: Mercury Redstone, which launched Alan Shepard, America's 1st man in space in May of 1961 (Freedom 7); Mercury Atlas, which made John Glenn the first American to orbit the earth in February, 1962 (Friendship 7); and Gemini Titan II, which launched a series of twin crews in preparation for Project Apollo, between 1965 and 1966.
This set features all three rockets fully finished, along with the capsule emblems of Freedom 7, Friendship 7, and the Gemini Project logo.
