A highly detailed model of the Skylab space station celebrates America's first manned space station.
Skylab Apollo Space Station 1:144 Scale
Skylab was almost rendered inoperable after damage incurred during its 1973 launch tore away its protective micrometeoroid shield and deprived the station of most of its power. Fortunately, Skylab's first crew was able to salvage during the first in-space repair job and the space station went on to support three 3-man crews for 28, 56 and 84 days respectively during its six-year lifespan. This Skylab space station model is made in 1/144 scale and measures almost 10" long.
