Space Exploration Technologies (SpaceX) made history by launching its Dragon spacecraft and successfully attaching it to the International Space Station on May 25, 2012. Less than five months later, on October 10, 2012, the SpaceX Dragon became the first commercial cargo resupply vehicle to deliver to the ISS, performing the first of at least 12 Cargo Resupply Services missions for NASA.
